and a molded spout.
the piece is made from dark czech stoneware clay
and glazed inside and out with a matt metallic
glaze with a wrinkled surface.
I used a gold overglaze here, containing actual gold.
where the gold overglaze coating is thin
in some places, the structure of the glaze comes
out well and gives extra character to the surface.
it resembles the appearance of gold leaf.
